God of Balance

Forganad is the god of balance. He is the strongest of the three gods and he is the laws of the universe. He is a personification of all things balanced within nature. He has no children or offspring. Forganad is often connected with neutrality, being diplomatic and open-minded, wisdom of the earth, and also a heartless attitude that some people believe they need to survive life.

Forganad's Appearance

It is only known that Forganad is an old but strong man. There are rumours in Huirnon that after Jadon's wife died, he became a fantastic painter in his mansion on his own. It is said that one night, he had a dream that he saw and spoke to Forganad. He painted what he remembered immediately after he woke up deep in the night. However, he has only told a select few people about this painting personally and has neither shown it to anyone nor described any part of it. It is a rumour, but a strong rumour at that.

Forganad's Personality

For want of a better word, the way Forganad acts is unique. As his power is ultimate, he knows when people are lying or telling the truth, when they mean someone harm or good, and when they are being selfish or selfless. Because of this, the people that claim to have once spoken with him say he is very robotic in that he shows little to no emotion in what he says and the way he acts. They say he repeats important things and raises his voice significantly when the other person isn't listening to the level that he'd like them too -- which is apparently a terrifying experience. Because of his robotic personality and neutral position, Forganad is not well liked amongst mortals and divines alike, yet he is still respected for what he does.

History

Forganad doesn't do anything to Riiga or its people. He came into being when Nikina and Garukavar were in the same place, and has been ever since, though his presense is indeed stronger if creation and destruction are close to one another. Forganad has had little to no followers throughout history because worshipping a god of balance is seen to be both 'sitting on the fence' and a 'people-pleaser'. Commoners always looked down at such people and worship of Forganad thus seldom happens.

Forganad's Laws

Forganad has certain laws laid out which restrict the actions of himself, Nikina, and Garukavar, and in turn, restrict the actions of the Hireos, the Odanon, and many more beings.

  1. The gods cannot directly aid any mortal being.
  2. Nikina cannot attack Garukavar.
  3. Garukavar cannot attack Nikina.
  4. Nikina must only seek to create things.
  5. Garukavar must only seek to destroy things.
