Slayers; Guardian Angels Slayers are mysterious and skilled warriors granted inhuman powers. There are very few known slayers. They do not eat or sleep and tend to avoid speaking with other people, but are flawless in their assigned duties of guarding a place or person. They are usually assigned to protect this place or person for thousands of years, and are thus considered immortal and divine beings. The two most famous Slayers are Srafel Duom Barakiel and Blake Guillera Behaerahel. Srafel BarakielSee Prinx Duos for history. Blake BehaerahelAt first glance, Blake is a townboy of about 11 with a cheerful step and smart eyes. On second glance, Blake is really quite peculiar. He wanders from town to town, mostly in eastern Huirnon, and many of the innkeepers know him and give him free rooms. He has a strong sense of curiosity and, though clever, he doesn't seem to know much going by the amount of questions he asks. Still, when it comes down to it, he's entirely capable of figuring things out on his own. He has a strong sense of duty and never accepts gifts of any kind from anyone else. Nobody knows where he got his armour from, and he won't let anyone try to remove it. Because so many people know him and are protective of him, he's never had trouble with people trying to steal the gold he dons. People claim to have detected him channeling elements, but nothing has been proven. Blake has no known history. As mentioned, many store owners, merchants, and innkeepers know the wandering boy, and he has no known home or family members. Some have tried to link him with other people with naturally green hair, but no actual connections have been discovered. His unusually long name also confuses many people. The religious few who are wisened in Slayers and their roles know that Blake is a Slayer, but it's not known what he was assigned to guard. Some say he does not know, or has forgotten, and so is stuck and wandering the world in search for his divine purpose. He only appeared about four years ago. People are starting to realise he's not ordinary, because he hasn't grown up at all. |
