Jadon, Dreamer of Gods
Jadon Bremriel is a man who lives in a large house on the most eastern point of Far Huirnon. At first glance, Jadon is not iconic in the least: he was married to a beautiful woman for ten years and had two children, but they were all murdered by bandits several years ago. This left Jadon in a state of paranoid shock. He had locks put on every door and bars put on every window because the bandits entered simply by opening the front door. However, for one to understand the impact that this man has had on Riiga, one must view or at least hear of his art.
Divine Visionary
Though Jadon does not show many his paintings to anybody, it is almost indisputable that he paints what he says he paints. He claims that all of his paintings are things he witnessed in his dreams; things that the gods have shown him. He has painted figures and beasts that none could ever imagine the likes of. At one point, he painted Nikina and showed it to the mayor of Varoicca. The mayor wrote a letter to the High Priest in Hunnuklad and inquired about the number of gold links in all of Nikina's chains. The High Priest wrote back, saying that Nikina had 441 links and that he had to consult Nikina about it. Calculating what was not visible to the eye, Jadon's painting of Nikina had 441 links.
His most known painting is presumed to be of what the Dutri calls "Wind Giants of the Sky" (v.13), shown right. It looms above a battlefield in an eerie greenish light, lifting up its wings higher than ten mountains, staring over the soldiers with apparent malice. This painting is in the mayor's house in Varoicca.
There are many other paintings of Hireos, Odanon, and foreign places that people can only speculate the names of. For example, he painted King Sigmund, the sixth king of North Nidonn, who died almost a hundred years ago. He has also been said to have painted The Enemy, Mother Gehmakemn, the almight Forganad, and even Garukavar, but he will not show them to anybody. Nevertheless, his paintings and dreams have shaped the way many Riigans view the higher beings of Riiga. Many say that they are the closest thing anybody will ever witness.
