The Divine White Lord Renin
Renin, born in 13,376BD, was the first king of the humans and it is also said he was the first human, though this is debatable. Among the Hireos, he is called a Divine Warrior Spirit. He was said to be strong, noble, and handsome, and was the embodiment of perfection and, when he later joined the Paladins, many of their ideals came from his ways. Renin is best known as a hero and a fighter for the common good. It is safe to say almost every knight wishes to be as admired and loved as this man was. Renin joined the Paladins in 1972BD, and though Renin was the oldest of the three that existed at the time and he was everything that being a Paladin stands for, he was only granted the tertiary rank of Lord, which was unrelated to his other Lord rank, representative of his rule over all humans thus far. He also created an order of knights, called the Order of the White, way back in 13,000BD. They were the fierce protectors of Central and warriors of the lord. Back then, it was a great castle surrounded by the homes of those who wished to live near -- which was a great many. HistoryAs Hireos were born mature, Renin did not necessarily have an upbringing. It is said he was born great and he remained great for all his days. In 13,021BD, Renin founded Lyte, which has remained in essence to this day, though the city has been rebuilt three times. Lyte was and has been the capital city for the humans of Central since the beginning. Back then, it was a great castle surrounded by the homes of those who wished to live near -- which was a great many. However, the creation of Votorimin a few years later was Garukavar's way of discretely taking a hold on the humans that Nikina created. Had Votorimin not been born so soon after the first humans, mankind would be a far better race, for his deceiving ways quickly turned the blood of many humans impure, and they became jealous of Renin and their superiors. Though small bands of traitors to the lordship of Lyte did exist, they never began battles or wars -- they always kept their moves hidden.Renin joined the Paladins in 1972BD, seeing that it was a worthy cause and it did not conflict with his order. Despite his popularity, Renin was only granted a lesser rank amongst the Paladins, though his opinion and strength were still admired and needed. When Renin joined, the Paladins rose in power and more and more people came to like them. And although the Templars were made in order to combat the Paladins, the order remained steady until the year 0. An Odanon known as Murluron came down and, using an unknown power, attacked and destroyed many of the temples that Ilertav had created. In a battle known as The Darkness, the Paladins fought alongside Renin against Murluron and the Templars, but Renin's life was abruptly ended when Murluron crashed into the earth, smashing everything beneath him with his size and weight. Ernamin, Renin's son, was also killed in this incident, though he was not a Paladin. At the time, there were stories that Ernamin held Renin in place when Murluron came crashing down and sacrificed himself in order to kill his own father, as many believed he had deals with Votorimin, but Renin's remaining family quickly doused the rumour. After this, Ilertav himself came down and defeated Murluron in battle. Ilertav than sealed his foe's power and threw his body into the sea. This event in the year 1AL was called The Light. As Renin and Ernamin had both been killed in this event, Erinduo took the title of lord in the year 3AL. Statues to Renin and Ernamin were erected in the palace at Lyte. Unfortunately, when Erinduo was killed in 249AH, Lyte and most of Central became a democratic society until Daedalus came from over the sea in 590AL and claimed rightful leadership over Lyte and practically all of Central, things changed again. Lyte enforced a new order called The Guards and people instead chose to join this new movement. The castle in Lyte was destroyed, as the entire city was rebuilt, and the statues were discarded in the sea as though they were rubbish. Still, people make no effort to forget Renin. |
