Rapturian Elemeniah of GrenkeepIt was Sage Carson who theorised that "Riiga", the planet itself, has more sway over our lives and the functioning of the planet than Forganad, Nikina, or Garukavar did, but it was Rapturian who took that theory another step. Rapturian Elemeniah was a man born around 2300BD who lived in Huirnon in the noble castle known as Grenkeep, situated between Temenkajet and Mousaka. Rapturian was a very clever man who had completed his studies at the Carson Institute with flying colours. He was also very interested in the writing of Sage Carson, and especially interested in Carson's idea of the world governing itself. "And because the many furies of the earth ... are so vast in power and effect, that I do declare they are neither a chance occurrence of Riiga, nor are they the residual product of the gods, but are under command by the mind of the earth itself." Theory 1: Adrastatirok, One GodRapturian was the first person to publicly critisise the beliefs that the Order of Dualkedor (which was then spread throughout Central) established based on what the Dutri said. He began to try to teach people that the common belief that there were three gods was a lie, and that there was in fact a single god who simply had three different divine orientations. He called this god Adrastatirok. He tried to establish that the Dutri never actually states that either Nikina or Garukavar become beings separate from Forganad, but that they all share the same mind, thus, the same body of divine power. Indeed, in verse 1 of the Dutri, it simply states that Forganad's "...thought was divided into two." Because this is in the very first sentence of the Dutri, Rapturian said it should be taken very seriously and literally. But the priests at the time argued that there are too many other references to the gods granting themselves physical bodies away from one another, such as in verse 5: "and they came to his side and he laid a hand on each of their heads." Which is speaking of Garukavar laying hands on Raildon and Shyokro. It implies that, at that moment in time, Garukavar had at least two hands, and that he also had a form somewhere, because the beasts came to his side. And in verse 12; "Garuukhavahriehs, with Vetorimin on his left; spawned a whole manner of beasts." where there is a reference to being on Garukavar's left. Rapturian, however, argued that to be on somebody's left was simply a figure of speech, just as to be at someone's side. Theory 2: Maturok, The CoreRapturian also tried to emphasise the references to the thing called the "core" in the Dutri, such as in verse 7: "Four of these temples linked all to none and linked both to the core..." The priests tried to retort, but found that their own beliefs were inconsistent. Some believed it was referring to the planet's core, where energy was created. Some believed it was referring to Forganad, as he is stated to be "all and none" and thus is actually everything in essence. Others believed it was talking about Ilertav, because he actually created Riiga.
Right: Carson's sketch of the round stone slab. Rapturian theorised that the stone slab was a sort of scanner; that the circles and rounded parts were pieces of something and the connecting lines were channels of some kind. However, not even he could deduce what it meant. He did have an idea that it was an anatomy scanner, but it appears to have too many limbs for any known animal to be able to activate it. The priests avoided speaking of the core after they had heard Rapturian's arguments. They simply did not know what its true reference was. Theory 3: Give-Move-TakeRapturian had a third theory, and that was what Adrastatirok actually does. He said that the overseeing aspect, known as Forganad, was the part that decided where energy should be moved to. He also said that the two other aspects, Nikina and Garukavar, only served to give energy unto Riiga (Nikina) and to take energy back to Maturok (Garukavar). This idea of a single give-move-take being actually convinced a large amount of people to join Rapturian in his attempts to oppress the Dualkedorian order and to make his own beliefs widespread and, one day, common knowledge. Many said that, compared with the Order of Dualkedor, his ideas were flawless. Rapturian said that his ideas could not be proven absolutely wrong because of the missing Dutri pieces that shattered and were lost. He said that they could have well spoken of Maturok and had references to Adrastatirok being a single force and mind in Riiga. Rapturian's FortressGrenkeep is where Rapturian took his ideas to the extreme. Once he had gathered a large amount of people -- said to be near a thousand -- they all lived in and around the huge fortress town of Grenkeep. After living there for some years; sharing theories, discussing religion, and making plans, Rapturian decided to try to bring Adrastatirok to the surface to prove the Order of Dualkedor to be wrong once and for all. He separated his people (as he had become a sort of mayor figure) into two groups: the believers and the doubters. This reduced his numbers, but increased the force and potency of his arguments. This smaller amount of people pulled their lives to within the confines of Grenkeep. Both the Order of Dualkedor and the Order of the White came to the keep in large numbers to keep an eye on Rapturian, but he and his people refused to exit the keep. They lived in seclusion for months, surviving on what they had in there. They then began to starve themselves in an attempt to get Adrastatirok's attention. Rapturian wanted glory for discovering the one god and trying to make the truth known, but nothing happened. The White and Dualkedorian orders watched from the outside in searing heat for what seemed like the slowest days in history, until one night, no celebration was heard from within the keep. Nothing at all was heard. The White Order broke in through force and discovered that every one of them had died of starvation -- all save one. Rapturian took his own life with a knife. He was found on the top-most battlements of the central tower, where crows had began to peck at him. It seemed he had been dead some days prior, and the people below had continued to fight for a cause that never showed itself. After this, the Dualkedorian Order gained far more trust from the people. Grenkeep fell into ruin. Some wise men sailed to East to go to Hunnuklad and speak with Nikina there. When asked about Rapturian's theories, Nikina answered, "Some things cannot be known." The High Priest in Hunnuklad afterwards said that one of the gods had punished Rapturian with insanity for trying to turn people away from the Order of Dualkedor and the truth of the Dutri.
