Killers in the SnowLike Gruitin, nothing is known about the history of Modeoa, also called werehuskies. In the past hundred years, some stray ships accidentally landed on Yanuiri -- a massive mountainous snowy island in north West -- and were encountered by Modeoa. Aside from this and a couple other brief encounters, nobody has seen a Modeoa. Even when people set out to find them on purpose, they make themselves hidden, and the giant valley in Yanuiri's centre is too harsh a place to look for them.Appearance and NatureModeoa look like Gruitin, only their fur is much thicker, they are taller and more heavily built (easier taller than the average man), and they sometimes wear lengths of chain and more elaborate skirts and such. It is assumed that they live in caves, as the blizzards of Yanuiri are too harsh even for Modeoa. The only thing known about their hierarchy is that their leader is called Daoma and that he has an extensive family. Despite the apparent existence of this leader, Modeoa can have battles with one another, and this lead explorers to assume that all Modeoa live in either clans or families.Because Modeoa are so large compared to other common hybrid races, they are both widely feared and often underestimated. They are stronger and more vicious than most are led to believe. Their coats can range from white through to black, copper, brown, and other earthy colours. Often, the darker the coat, the more dangerous the Modeoa. |
